ASI (Aero Simulation, Inc.) has been awarded a position on the U.S. Army's Family of Maintenance Trainers (FMT) Product Line Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The Army awarded the $396 million ceiling contract to 19 prime vendors, with ASI named among the awardees. The contract supports lifecycle sustainment, technology refreshes, and concurrency upgrades across the FMT Product Line — the Army's standardized training architecture for ground vehicle maintenance instruction. 

Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI) announced it has been awarded a contract by the Swedish Air Force (SwAF) and the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) to upgrade the Host, Image Generator, and Visual Display System for the C-130H Training System. This award marks a significant milestone for ASI as their first contract with Sweden and reinforces the company’s position as a trusted provider of advanced training and simulation solutions worldwide. 

ASI is supporting the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Training Center (ATC) in Mobile, Alabama, by demonstrating an advanced, immersive training solution designed to enhance pilot readiness and mission success. As part of this effort, ASI partnered with industry leaders Aechelon Technology, RealTime AeroTech, and Varjo to equip our MH-60T Reconfigurable Flight Training Device (RFTD) with state-of-the-art capabilities.

Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI) has been awarded the Trainer Development (TD) III contract, a single-award indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract supporting the 502d Trainer Development Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio – Randolph. This contract, issued through the General Services Administration (GSA), with a contract ceiling of $100 Million has a maximum performance period of five years.

Forty years ago, on December 20, 1983, Joe Fernandez established Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI) to support local Government contractors utilizing his expertise in Flight Dynamics modeling. During its initial decade, ASI expanded to a dedicated team of six, all specializing in flight simulation. In 1993, the company marked a significant milestone by securing its first prime contract with the U.S. Navy, followed by contracts for the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Marine Corps in 1995.

ASI announces Paul Kralovanec’s promotion to the position of Vice President of Engineering. With over 29 years of dedicated service to our company, Paul has proven himself in various key roles, including Flight Dynamics Engineer, Flight Dynamics Group Leader, Project Engineer, and most recently, Director of Engineering for the past five and a half years.
