ASI Selected to Upgrade Swedish Air Force C-130H Full Flight Simulator

Tampa, FL (July 13, 2026) – Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI) announced it has been awarded a contract by the Swedish Air Force (SwAF) and the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) to upgrade the Host, Image Generator, and Visual Display System for the C-130H Training System. This award marks a significant milestone for ASI as their first contract with Sweden and reinforces the company’s position as a trusted provider of advanced training and simulation solutions worldwide. 

Under the contract, ASI will modernize the system by replacing the existing, legacy image generator with Aechelon Technologies’ Nucleus and Global Commercial database, and rehosting the simulation Host to modern hardware and software which will enhance the performance, fidelity, and long-term sustainability of the system. The effort includes options for long-term, interim in-service support. 

Design, development, and integration work will be performed at ASI’s Tampa, Florida, USA headquarters, with additional onsite support and delivery occurring at F7 Såtenäs, Sweden.
