ASI Awarded Position on U.S. Army $396 Million Family of Maintenance Trainers IDIQ Contract

Tampa, FL (July 15, 2026) – ASI (Aero Simulation, Inc.) has been awarded a position on the U.S. Army's Family of Maintenance Trainers (FMT) Product Line Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The Army awarded the $396 million ceiling contract to 19 prime vendors, with ASI named among the awardees. The contract supports lifecycle sustainment, technology refreshes, and concurrency upgrades across the FMT Product Line — the Army's standardized training architecture for ground vehicle maintenance instruction.

The FMT Product Line equips warfighters with the knowledge and hands-on proficiency required to operate, diagnose, and repair the Army's most critical tactical and combat vehicle platforms, including the Stryker, Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), Abrams Main Battle Tank, and Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV). The program replaces formerly isolated, platform-specific training systems with a unified, modular architecture that allows the Army to share assets, security profiles, and training management systems across multiple platforms through a Common Core hardware and software baseline.

“Being selected as a prime vendor on the Army’s FMT contract is a meaningful milestone for ASI. This program directly supports warfighter readiness by ensuring maintainers are trained and proficient on the vehicles they will work on in the field – and that’s exactly the type of mission critical work our team is built for.” said Mike Conti, President and CEO of ASI.

ASI's role under the FMT IDIQ positions the company to deliver work spanning the full spectrum of trainer types within the product line. Diagnostic Troubleshooting Trainers (DTTs) provide computer-based virtual simulations that enables the warfighter to practice fault diagnosis in an immersive audio-visual classroom environment. Part Task Trainers (PTTs) are high-fidelity, full-scale subsystem representations that support hardware fault isolation and repair training. Hands-On Trainers (HOTs) provide physical hardware enabling Soldiers to practice direct removal and replacement of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) — skills that translate directly to field performance.

Task orders will be competed among the 19 awardees on a best-value basis throughout the ordering period.
