Aero Simulation, Inc. Selected as Navy TSC II Prime Contractor

Aero Simulation Inc. announced on September 2, 2003 that the company has been awarded a contract as one of the Prime Contractors for Lot I of the Navy’s Training Systems Contract II (TSC II) multi-year, multiple-award Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity contract. The win will allow ASI to compete for major Delivery Orders during the contract’s eight year ordering period. The ceiling established for the TSC II Program is $3 billion.

Lot I represents the support effort for the training needs of the Naval Air Systems Command, which consists of the full range of training system design, development, production, test and evaluation, modification and support needs to be purchased over the eight-year ordering period of the contract.

“Selection as a Prime Contractor for this contract represents achieving a major strategic goal that ASI has been pursuing for more than a year and positions the company to compete for a number of future major delivery orders,” said Joe Fernandez, President and CEO of ASI. “This win validates efforts that we have made over the past several years to bring internal policies and procedures level with industry best practices. This is a major accomplishment for a Small Business and ASI looks forward to the challenges that this program will bring to us.”
