FLIGHT SIMULATOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Position Type: Regular, Full-Time

Location: Mobile, Alabama

Essential Functions: Responsible for design, code/build, test, and document software and hardware elements of high fidelity flight simulation subsystems including but not limited to aero, propulsion, avionics, and weapons. Other systems include Instructor Operator’s Station design, real time executives, and subsystem interfaces such as MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, RS232, etc. Also, assist in trouble shooting and repair of hardware and software systems of existing training devices.

Requirements: Minimum BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science. Academic or work experience with Ada, C/C++, and FORTRAN. Able to work in a team environment, or independently, as necessary. Self-starter who will attack designs and resolve problems effectively and efficiently. Good written and verbal communication skills.
